Aluminum gearbox mount?

In the June issue of Eurotuner there is a 78 rabbit with an ABA that
has an "aluminum gearbox mount for '92 Golf Cabrio tranny". Is that
an 020 tranny that came out of the Golf? Does that mean that he
replaced the stock rubber bushing with a solid piece of aluminum or
changed out the steel bushing mount with an aluminum one? Just
curious.
