Re: Coilovers



That is whole reason behind using Coilovers as apposed to lowering
springs is that you maintain the complete travel.  In addition if you
want to gain a bit of travel and lowering you can install the Bonrath
upper strut supports, which I also have on one scirocco.

I'm OK with a stiff ride, but I really dislike that relatively small bumps can really jar the
chassis since it pretty much just sits on the bump stops with the common lowering springs.
So, I guess the real question is, with the car at a reasonable height (lower control arms level or a
little lower) is there still some amount of travel (1/2"-3/4") before the bump stops come into play
with the coilovers you have?
