The leak is really bad.  It is VERY loud.  I was getting boost up until
today.  I am not hearing any spooling or the waste gate opening.  I am new
to the turbo, so not sure what noises I should be hearing.  I am not hearing
any of the ones I was hearing though. I run up to about 6500 rpm and no
extra power.

If the leak is before the turbo then it's letting out the pressure needed to
drive the turbo.
I'm suprised you're getting no boost though.
When this happened to my nephew's car the boost was really laggy, but it
would get up to full boost
at higher RPM.
It's either a really big leak or something else is wrong.
