RE: Stake your axle nuts!



If they are Nylock, I understand.  However, I personally have never had a
problem with reusing the squished nuts.  Rod bolt nuts, stub axle nuts,
exhaust nuts...  Only the later has gotten weaker, and even then they rarely
back off...  Again, in my experience...

Not to be the person to dissent, but I disagree.  There is no note in ETKA
or Vesis about not reusing these, esp. if they are indeed a 'smashed' nut
that locks in place...

Plastic? Not on the rear axled main nut.. it's a NON reusable compression
nut.
