Yeah, find some way to hold the clutch pedal down (you have a hydraulic clutch, so maybe you want to install a hydraulic line lock if you do the towing or front engine only thing often.  Otherwise, just bailing wire the clutch arm on the tranny up.  Then leave it in neutal and I don't think there should be a whole lot of a problem.
