MK IV Jetta Seat Issue

I was helping a friend buy a car a few weeks ago, not
VW, and the salesmen kept harping on the warranties, i
told them, 'oh, yeah, those great warranties that
cover everything, until you drive up with a problem,
then that particular issue is not covered because of
some loophole, or lame excuse, or whatever.'  they
didn't like me for some reason.
