  I gues i'd apply as a new member, even though I'm just no realizing how to use the shiot! 
Anyways, I'm Adam-born in Atlanta, GA about 24yrs ago, still here and lovin it(HOTLANTA). I was strangely converted to the German excellence from a 92' civic dx (i'm so ashamed) to an 86' audi 5000s (non-quat) with crazy low mileage. It was owned by an airline pilot who always flew instead of cruised, that was sold to me by a dealer (trade-in) in haste for $2000. Anyways> to make a long story short i was instantly hooked on the performance line of VW/Audi/Porsche, daily driving a 98' GTI VR6 (currently) and eventually was suckered (graced) by a incomplete Scirocco project car. 
 
   I purchased an 81' Scirocco S ($1000 aprox-1yr ago) from a technician friend that had too many dubs for the wifey to handle. Hey had just purchased a 337 anniversary edition GTI 1.8t (original limited production silver 18" RC equipped) and-who would of thought-chose the GTI over the Scirocco. So i was 'chosen' to be the next Scirocco wielder....
 
   Though I can't seem to get the light-lumped beast to play the part, I've been trying my (first project car) daomn'ist to get her fired-up. When purchased she had a full 89' Jetta GLI lump/trans/wiring/dash 1.8L 16v swap (relativley clean) but some things had to be completed. I personally (not-re) placed the fuelpump assembly, fuel lines, (new)fuel-tank, custom 90mm outer/100mm inner C/V'd (customed from hell) half-shafts, radiator mounts, and (replaced) window regulators (i know, random) to boot. The car is amazing to say the least, and the amount of GI (general info) that I've learned working on it is (bentley u rock) irreplacable. I'm just running into issues now with the good ol' CIS-(e) (i believe) fuel injection and if anyone has experience with this thang hollar!
