FUBA (antenna) / headliner



1. remove rear weather strip, remove it all the way around the curves on 
either side.
2.  carefully peel the headliner off and around the metal ridge. curse as 
you crack it, even though you're being REALLY careful. again, you'll 
probably need to take it off all the way on the top, and down a bit at least 
on one of the sides.
3.  if you look where the stitch on the headliner is, about 6 inches forward 
(on the outside), that's where the bar is on the inside.  get underneath the 
bar, lift and pull back (i think) to free from the clips. otherwise, it's up 
and forward.
4. voila, fuba. iirc, 19mm nut holding the threaded body of the fuba.
5. installation, as they say, is the reverse of removal.  no need to glue 
the headliner back on. hth,
