You can just bolt on the 8V mounting bracket... It's the same as the 16V
bracket, and will accept the 16V mount, and the diesel mount is fine.

I'm probably going to part out my '84 convertible, let me know if you need
anything.

need the 16v side motor mount? it has a 8v motor in so is to my 
knowledge it doesn't have the mounting point for the side mount so would
