What the heck is going on? Bearing or CV Joint?

I know this is old, just getting around to reading it.

I have something to add however.

I have tried the triple square bits, set of four (6-12mm) for about $20, made by both Lisle and K-D. They both suck more than anything has ever sucked before. They both f!%#$% stripped and rounded out some of my flywheel bolts on my VR6 when I was doing my timing chains. Those suckers are one use and order only. I was pissed beyond belief.

My Snap-On bits which were quickly purchased thereafter gave me absolutely no problem with the astronomical torque required for these. $20 a PIECE but well worth the money.

These bits are the only Snap-On tools I own. I usually try to at least buy Craftsman but have been known to cheap out as far down as Harbor Freight. It was not worth it here.

Do not cheap out on your triple squares. They will f$#@$( up your day when you need to have you DD on the road ASAP.
