Everyone sing along now (to the tune of Monty Python's SPAM song) Grounds,
grounds, grounds, groundity grounds grounds grounds...

Seriously, the lights on all these cars often have crusty grounds. Check
for that or a dead bulb, as others have suggested. Even the sealed beams
benefit from it, most likely because it involves adding better grounds. I
automatically relay the headlights anyways, I'm on harness number five I
think. As for the fan, you can temporarily wire a manual over ride with a
switch till you get the problem sorted out, I have the headache's wired
that way on a parallel circuit actually. We use it in stop and go and in
the staging lanes.
