Victor Jr.'s (disappointing) day at the races

Ron:
First thought it that drag racing isn't as easy as it seems. Finding the right revs and throttle to
launch the car takes a while to pick up. So, there's probably some room for improvement there.
Second thought is how have you tuned the Megasquirt? If you've only used a narrow band then your
full throttle A/F may not even be close to where you want it.
As an example, my engine tuned with NB made 106 HP, tuned with WB made 132HP.

Course one way to approach it is to tune the engine for stoichiometric across the entire map then
increase the top couple rows of the map by the percentage required for what A/F you want. Say
14.7/13.2=1.11, so roughly 11%.

If that doesn't work then you might be able to talk me into renting my WB-O2 ;^)

And my last input is that the Techedge WB-O2 that we built for Kirsten's car wasn't too difficult to
build and w/sensor is only about $250. Instructions for assembly are not as good as the MS, but
doable. Building the sensor cable is the biggest PITA!
