Mark, I hope you get the swap done soon. It just seems a little crazy the you would swap in a tranny that is in a slightly un-known condition just before your 1000 mile trip. Maybe you can get one of those spotlights, make a Scirocco cut out to put over it and shine it in the sky if you have trouble. :^)
