Installed 120 amp Audi Alternator

Re: Why is my voltage higher after changing my amp for an Audi 120A unit?

Thoghts on the manner:

- The residual corrosion on the system has been knocked back and metal
to metal contact is making for higher voltage.

- The 120A regulator is set higher and/OR it has a larger 'pool' of
available energy so it can float at the higher end without strain.

- The 'old' Alt was just tired. Worn brushes, accumulated grit,
corrosion and aged components might have led to poor output.

I ranked these according to what I thought might be likely but htey are
interchangable and might be accumulative.
