German Engineers I'd love to slap for $500, Alex!

Ugh.

Tell me again why I drive VWs?

For those that care, or remember, my '84 has a bad fuel line, and I haven't
been able to repair it yet. Drew MacPherson had a suggestion I sort of am
leaning towards of replacing the lines with A2 plastic ones. Any one that
has done this, please email me off list.

My Rabbit is all torn apart in my garage, getting a new set of H&R
coilovers, so isn't road worthy. The fact that it's a year out of NYS
inspection doesn't help....

And the BEST was that Thursday on my way home from work, my Passat's heater
core gave out. Trying to deal with that, I unfortunately had to cancel out
on a tech procedure weekend where we were going to transplant the suspension
out of my Rabbit into Cathy Boyko's daughter's Cabriolet, which has had its
OWN set of "issues."

So I now own three VWs, none of which are drivable.

Given that I now no longer trust the Passat, I'm kind of looking around for
a B3 or B4 wagon in decent shape, so I can have ONE car I can turn the key
and go in. Email me off-list if you find any. I already have my minions
(aka Daun) on the prowl.
