I don't know if it runs or not actually - it didn't when I
sold it.

Too many projects is true I suppose, I've seen his
driveway.  I didn't help by selling him my old Passat - it
turns out that my worst fears for why it quit running were
true.  The crank keyway sheared bending almost every valve
and cracking one piston.
