Presale Bad Luck: Repairing/replacing strut bearing studs?(early A1)



If the strut bearing was out of the car, you could use a thread file on it.  
If it was still in the car, you could use a die on it, but getting the 
alignment on it correct would be a biotch. as there is a slight tilt to its' 
position in the car...  I dunno about replacing the stud, but I would imagine 
it could be done if you were patient enough to try...
