while i would doubt that the tank was replaced with one that was just as
faulty as the old one, i cant help but wonder just how much money you could
sue vw for, should you get into that rear end collision and meet the exact
conditions that the recall was supposed to fix in the first place. perhaps
droping that tidbit on the right dealerships ear, or even vwoa, might cause
a sudden change in their stance on the issue. i seriously doubt they want
something like that plastered all over the news, should it happen. sure the
chances are a zillion to 1, but you never know, murphys law and all.
