cabby project progress



A couple of comments to help you...

  The copper washers can be reused.  If you are having seating problems, sand 
them until they are flat with some 200 grit sandpaper or similar...  Been 
there, done that.  Also, as for they lifters, rev it to 3000-3500 rpm for at 
least 10 minutes.  This will not cause any increased wear.  After that, if you 
occassionally have trouble with it again, throw some Rislone at it.  It is a 
solvent you can use with motor oil that will not cause any problems with 
oiling while in use.  You should be able to find it at most FLAPS...
