CV Joints / Cap / Rotor

I've found the easiest way to remove the inner CV flnage bolts is to
remove the wheels and use long extensions on a ratchet. You can then use
your 30mm socket and breaker bar or T- handle on the axle nut to keep the
driveshaft from turning while you undo the inner bolts with the ratchet
from the outside. Most auto-parts stores carry long (ie 36") extensions -
I usually just run about 3 or 4 shorter ones together - a little bit of
flexibility doesn't hurt, especially on the passenger's side.

Of course if you have access to air tools, then an impact makes the job go
that much easier. The only reason I go under the car is to clean out the
heads on the bucket bolts. Once that's done, then I start with the top
two bolts, working from the wheelwell with suitable extensions, use a
light tap of the hammer to seat the bit into the bolt, then a quick blast
on the impact and you're done. Turn the axle nut to get at the next
pair of bolts and repeat.
