Bumpers, a few notes..

Well, just two things, no three.
1. Dirk rocks.
2. Euro Mk1 bumpers are a full 51 lbs lighter than their NA counterparts. 
And they look damn sexy.(And they had better!)
But 51 lbs?  (14 vs 40 lbs per bumper) That has to be equivalent to adding a 
few horsies.
3. If you are looking for rust, try taking the trim off the rear bumper. 
Yikes. There can be nasty stuff hiding under there, if you're on a 
preservation mission, take the bumper, and then that trim off, it may 
surprise you. And my car is pretty clean otherwise. I'll be back in there 
with some POR 15 shortly. Oddly, I'd suspect this is a NA bumper problem, 
the Euros have better ventilation in that area.
