Jeff,

It was I (an east coaster) that mentioned an ethanol & unleaded fuel
mix. Back when I had a VW thing that was the topic of the year for the
CA folks.

Unfortunately I know no details, it's not that hard for us to get our
cars to pass "emissions" (not smog) out east.

At ND, someone mentioned that they heard someone had success smogging
their car using a 50:50 mixture of unleaded fuel and ethanol.

Any ideas on the feasibility? Potential impact to the motor? Could
denatured be used or would it have to be reagent grade?

What about octane booster?
