Any Mega Squirt Success Stories out there?

Brett, I did view the pictures when you building the album however; I
did not study them at that point in time, thanks for the refresher.
BTW, I noticed last year's car in the first set of pictures. I saw Rick
A. last week and he is putting the finishing touches on his 2.0l
conversion with MS as the next step.

I noticed you used individual throttle bodies (TB) however, I am leaning
to a more, as you suggest below, traditional setup. With that in mind,
what would you recommend for a fuel rail and injectors for a stock 16V
intake/TB set up? Is the Corrado G60 a good donor. I have also heard
that the Mopar 2.2/2.5 turbo fuel rail may fit. Any input in this area
will help!

Finally, just to give you some background, I am in the early stages of a
2.0l conversion (I just took the motor out of the donor Passat
yesterday). I am trying to decide on the fuel management system to use.
I could stay with the CIS-E, convert to Motronic or MS. Time is on my
side since this is a 'fun' project and not something I have to get on
the road tomorrow.
Thanks, Rick K.

I think you should check out our antics during the build up, fairly
well documented
at http://cyco.ataxxia.com/BustedKnuckleRacing

We did something quite non-standard, but something a more stock like
could be done.
In fact, Brian and I are discussing right now how we'd like to be
able to bring a VEMS /
Megasquirt system to the masses in a plug-n-play type arrangement.
With several
variants and a somewhat sliding-scale approach of how much "you"
supply or do, the
price could range from below $300 to over $1000 for a full system
*designed* for
your exact car / current engine management. We plan on taking full
advantage of
existing wiring, and sensors as much as possible. Where we cannot,
we expect to
have recomendations, or be able to supply a suitable replacement (the
throttle
position sensor comes to mind here).

I'm sure we'll be able to supply more information as we develop the
idea and start
prototyping.
