You are correct about the warrant for the video tape. Having a camera in your vehicle while speeding doesn't have anything to do with being caught, the camera didn't make your car go faster than the posted speed limit or kill poor innocent traffic cones.
 
But, if another vehicle or trooper witnessed the camera in action while this was occurring and radioed that in stating that it was the camera was used and part of the reason for careless driving, exceeding the posted speed limit, damage to state property (poor cones), then yes, better bring the KY for your new cell mate! Chewkaka!

claimed it was authentic (as silly as that may be for me to incriminate 
myself), its still only my word, and not taken as some form of 'video/photo 
factual data'.
