Find an local automobile upholstery shop, and explain what you need, I bet
you they can find you a manufacturer they know that could be interested to
make 1 or 1000...

Why are you surprised that no one is no making any parts (aside some
aftermarket and oem) or are not interested in making them for a car that
well has  not compared to for example, ford mustang, Volkswagen beetles etc
made real history, heck its easier to find these type of parts for a rabbit
then for a scirocco... just a fact of life.

Money, money, money.  It is what makes the world go 'round.  If indeed there
is an actual desire to have some made, I think it is a good idea.  However,
if it is just to have them available when we get "good and ready", I think
that is a bad idea...  Money can make a lot of things happen that should,
and even some that should not...  :)
