Abandoned Scirocco...

Sounds like a California Edition... one correction to what you posted Craig 
is that the small wing was not used in '85... the bigger wing was 
introduced at the end of the '84 model year with the '84 Wolfsberg 
Edition... all 85's and on had the bigger spoiler on the hatch.

Abandoned or no it's still auto theft I think... check with the cops you 
might be able to buy it out of impound for the impound fee. No car is worth 
going to jail for.
