Is anyone out there using a hood scoop? Seen a bigoneinEuroTuner...

  There should be a "bowshock" near the lip of the hood. A low pressure zone 
  exits just below that layer and turbulance at the surface of the hood. Hood 
  scoops, unless really tall will not draw THAT much air in.

  If reverced, then it will allow the air that comes in from the front via the 
  radiator, to escape into the low pressure above the hood. This will also 
  allow oils and dirt, from the engine compartment to flow very close to the 
  windshield and cause it to get dirty faster.
