Ignition Coil

I tested the coil on my 16V and the primary circuit resistance is 1.2 ohms 
instead of .8 as listed in the Bentley.  The first coil when I got the car 
was bad, and I replaced it with this coil from a dead 16V Passat.  Is there 
a problem that my carmay have that I keep ruining coils? I have a brand new 
flamethrower coil from summit racing, that I heard is O.K. to put in.  I 
just wanted to see what you guys think about that i.e. am I going to fry 
anything, or better yet where can I get a new stock 16v coil?
