Help changing brake lines



Subject: Help changing brake lines

im replacing my rear calipers and installing ss lines but i cant figure
out 
how to change the line that goes over the rear axle so my car is sitting
in 
my driveway on stands so any help would be appreciated.

how much fluid do i need to bleed the car?

A quart is usually enough, depending on how you do it.

I drop the rear axle down a little to replace the over axle lines. The
bad part is that you usually have to use the rear jacking points. 

Do the front hoses first, then cut the female ends off of each stock
rubber hose, weld over the hole where the hose barb was, let them cool
off, and then use them to temporarily plugs for the rear brake lines. 

It will keep the brake fluid from draining out, and this way you don't
have to worry about how long it takes before you have the rear SS lines
properly connected. 

Btw, always use flare wrenches, or box ends when possible.
