Not using the trim would defeat the purpose of the seal entirely----I 
know, I just spent my saturday scrubbing the mold from my seats, vinyl, 
belts, and roof liner followed up with a serious coating of scotch guard.

If anyone has a good set of trim and tabs for the rear hatch glass, let 
me know!!!!!  As for the front...i have to get off my arse and spend the 
money to have the cal rubber installed.
