Buzzing noise

Oh, man, don't let Weiler scare you.  The outside pump is not that difficult.  Heck, even I did it!

  The whizzing type noise is normal and yes is your fuel pump...it should
  stop after about 20 seconds after turning on the key. You do have two
  fuel pumps and if you thought the lines were bad don't even try a fuel
  pump :).
