quick question on sparco pedals

I  bought a kit of classic style sparco pedals and got them today. It 
appears that I have to drill into the car pedals also the fit is very close. 
Does any one have any suggestions or recomendations. the points that i have 
to drill are on the way top and way bottom leaving almost no clearence from 
the top of the top screw and the bottom of the bottom screw will this be ok?
