Shifter problem

I had this problem with my golf, turned out to be a big ass crack in the
pressure plate. First was the only gear affected, and the clutch didn't
slip. I had to turn the car off, put it in first, start the car, then drive
away. lol
But as Daun says, could just need a tweaking.
