Start Q's

I moved the battery to the front for the winter. with all new battery
cables.
As for the starter? Nope. Its the one from the 1.8L 16v. I talked to Mark &
Dave about the permanent magnet type, I just don't have the cash as yet.

I just got back from the runs. (literally). Walmart says there is MO charge
current to the battery. Advance Auto says the Alt is putting out 190A.
Not bad for a stock 16v alt!

Its going in the garage tonight for sure.

PS. A mech at Walmart has a 1982 VW Rabbit with a 1.8l 8v (with obligitory
oil leak) up for sale. May be $200.00. Any thing to get this MKI off the
road!
