Tell Joe Doty that: I would of been glad they he showed up (to Dubwars) I
didnt care if he brought his Roc or not (would of been a bonus if he did)
it just would of been nice to see friends from the list is all. Dubwar
was alot to do with a REASON to show up. The events that they offered
were a bonus to those of us who like to race or show. I felt it would of
been good encentive for the list to make a showing. Those who bitched
about the heat and dust, how could ANY of them say that when they have
never been? It was hot, its summer but it wasnt bad. I worked on my car
all day in it, I managed to survive. LOL!! 


Yeah, sometimes its fun, I had fun on the Scirocco list... 
So, heres an update on whats going on with me:

I purchased a 02 Beetle Turbo S for the wife to drive. We needed a
relaible car. I didnt care for it until i drove it. OMG! Fun fast car!
Potterman and myself will co-drive it in GS next season. Were in the
process of fully prepping it for the class and Iwill take itto Pahrumph

Vehicle is in good shape. Body needs a little TLC, windshield is cracked.
I have two sets of wheels, GTI wheels with good rubber and Ronal 15" R5
wheels needing new tires. This car is fast for a naturally aspirated
motor. Transmission is blown. Quaife still good. Fifth gear blew out.

That was the ad for the car. 
I paid $800 for it! Plus he is going to give me 3 extra tranny's and a
stock 1.8L motor. This thing cleaned up really nice, and the paint is in
relatively decent condition! Its got 1 ding on the rood and 3 scratches
on the hood and fender. Thats ok tho cuz I hate that color. That makes 3
MK-I's and 3 MK-II's at my house. Plus a 2.0L 16v im working on for a
customer. Looks like freakin VW land here. Im probably gonna sell both my
other MK-I's to consolidate the cars I have. Its kinda getting out of
hand.
