Removing those plastic rings around the seat headrest posts?



Ron,

You can really remove the upholstry with those in place? Hmm, didn't
notice that possibility when I last touched them about 3 years ago. But
you probably do need to pull them to replace the seatback foam (which I
was doing at the time).

BTW one other thing you might try to compress those plastic rings is a
flare nut wrench (like the ones from brake lines, but 17mm or so) or a
socket or something. I managed to get mine out without -too- great of
difficulty just using pliers.. but they are a PITA.
