Front calipers, was Re: rear wheel bearings



Perhaps you can enlighten us about what car your calipers originally came
off of.
ETKA lists one caliper for the Scirocco for both the 9.4" x 12mm non-vented
and the 9.4" x 20mm vented rotor.
Germanautoparts website list one caliper for ALL 8V Sciroccos 79-88.
The Jetta listing in ETKA for 84 and earlier uses the same caliper.
The Rabbit listing in ETKA uses the same caliper 81-84 (prior years being
the ATE caliper with the little square pads)
Even the Quantum used the same caliper.
And last, but not least, the pickup lisiting in ETKA again uses the same
caliper.
So, if your pickup has 9.4 rotors, what calipers are you using that use the
thicker pads?
I'll bet you have 10.1 rotors and, of course, that is a different caliper.
