8v questions, what can I get from the yard?

Ok, first, RD blocks are not digi. Because of that, I assume they don't have digi injector inserts. RD blocks are in 86-88(?) golf gtis and possibly jetta glis. Just good ole CIS-E. ABAs are not real easy to find, nor cheap. All the TT crap to make the engine happy is not real cheap. All the piping and the manifold and having to swap to digi for the turbo (running on CIS seems like a waste of a turbo to me) is expensive and not very easy. While I would love a turbo, it's just not in the budget. The reason I'm looking at the engine combo I am is because I can get the built bottom end for $300-400 and a whole RD block with 153k on it for $50. Moneywise, it just doesn't make sense to go with an ABA or even a 3a. A turbo is on the wishlist, but I think it'll stay on that list for quite awhile.
