Anyone dealt with this guy??? Sounds fishy.

Avoid this guy at all costs.  This same type of scam has surfaced several times on the Corvette forums and it is NEVER legit.
The best thing to do is ignore it.  
The worse that could happen is you will be several thousand dollars.
It IS a scam.
