Hi William;
    If they say it needs a fuel pump and that is the reason it is not
running
take your jumper wire and remove the fuel pump relay and insert the jumper.
If the people say it "just stopped running" or "we can't start it" My VW
mechanic Harvey and I are usualy able to drive away with a supposedly dead
mark 1 Scirocco, Rabbit or Dasher.
