dash switch bezel by driver's knee

Ah, didn't know about the fader switch. Is that for the "6 speaker stereo"
option listed in the electrical section of the bentley? I've never seen a
Scirocco with such a switch..

I was aware that the factory heated seat switches were in the center
console, but my heated seats are not factory (they're homebrew, cost me
$23.50 per seat) so I don't have all the factory wiring/relays necessary
to have the variable control afforded by the factory dial controls. So
instead, I chose heated seat switches from a Volvo 740. They look european
enough to pass for vw switches, and the graphics match the rest of the
switches pretty closely.

I wired up a red LED as a backlight bulb for the "steaming seat" and
they look pretty slick at night. I plan to relay each seat seperately with
switching power coming from the SU circuit, so they can be used any time
the key is in the ignition but won't drain the battery if I leave them
turned on by accident.

The extra room for the third switch in the bezel would probably be
occupied by my alarm LED, which I still haven't connected. Not sure if I
will even bother though.. my shock sensor seems to be sensitive enough to
keep people from touching my car (but is pretty good about false
alarms..)
