Anyone running turbo on CIS?

There's a guy on Vortex that is very knowledgeable about this subject.
Stephen Webb. His testing indicates the stock CIS is good for about 170
HP and at that level it will probably be running lean if you
make no modifications.
The standard mod seems to be changing out the warm up regulator/control
pressure regulator for one off a turbo Volvo 240T or Audi 5000T. They
have a port for manifold vacuum and richen the mixture under
boost.
To support more power it seems you have to change out the fuel
distributor. The Volvo 240 T FD will apparently support over 200 HP.
Also, there is somebody on this list (can't remember who, but I think
Joe
Doty) that used an Audi 5000T FD and blocked off one port. I'd
definitely verify this before trying.
With CIS you're not going to be able to build a super high HP engine,
but if ~200 HP will make you happy it seems like a good approach.
BTW, I'll be building a 1.8 JH CIS turbo with my nephew within the next
6 months with T3 50 trim turbo, 240T WUR and FD and undecided
intercooler. So, we'll let the list know how it turns out.
