Diagnose: severe clunking



Hey Patrick,
         Mine's done the same clunk thing in reverse since I got it -- with 
28,000 miles on the clock.  I've done everything you have, including the 
control arms and the tie rods throughout the years... and it's still 
usually there.  Don't worry about it -- my guess is that it's just the 
strut bearings moving when you turn the wheels and back up.
