88 16v: play in the steering wheel

just need someone to verify what could be causing the
play in my steering column. I look under there and the
bearing fell out and the piece right below the
bearing, which i suppose was holding it in, went bad.
so is this the piece that needs to be replaced, thrust
ring part no. 171-419-539?
