anyone added sound deadening?

Dynomat and brown bread are vibration dampers, and that is all.  They stop
the metal from resonating with the bass / road frequencies.  If you want to
actually decrease road noise, what you need is some kind of a fluffy
material.  Carpet underlay works good, I've seen a really nice product which
is carpet underlay with some reflectix material on one side, which would be
great for temperature insulation as well.

Basically brown bread won't do anything for interior noise level unless you
have a bunch of resonating metal.  Its best use is behind speakers to absorb
the rear wave and make the speaker sound better.

I used Dynomat and Dynomat Extreme over my entire trunk, then sprayed it
down with like 3 cans of the rubber truck bed liner stuff. This was in my 88
16v with no rear seat or hatch cover, which makes a big difference. Sound
was a little quieter, actually I'd describe it as muffled, but it wasn't
much of an improvement. Certainly not worth the expense (about $75 all
together). A rear seat and hatch cover will make a huge difference in sound
if you can go that route.

P.S.- If you still want to use Brown Bread, you can find it really cheap on
Ebay.
