tranny 5th gear bolt

I did a last-minute U-turn and decided I -will- put a bolt kit in my 4K
after all. I've got it all apart minus the 1st/2nd cluster which I need
to make the puller extensions to get off.. so far so good.

Anyway, I'm getting a new main gasket and I have a new 5th housing
gasket but how crucial is it to replace the triple square 5th gear bolt? I
read that it's like 30 dollars (!)

What about replacing the circlips that hold on the 3rd/4th/5th, etc?
