automatic tire balancing ?

On my 8V which was the high speed car I used to get the tires balanced on
the car... I don't know a lot of places that do it but there was one in
Pasadena, CA... could get your tires filled with nitrogen there too!

Basically they would do a regular balance then mount the tires and spin
them using either the motor, locking one wheel so there was only one
spinning at a time or this cool device that they placed under the tire and
with a lever moved up to spin the non driven wheel. The technician would
then add weights using tape to null out any vibrations. Once the wheel spun
with out vibrations he would attach the final weights and verify that it
would spin shake free and move on the next wheel. Wasn't cheap but it was
like driving on glass.

I'm not sold on these automatic balancer things, you might see if you can
find a place that will do this...
