side moulding gets stretched out of shape?

If you pull it off it will probably stretch. If you scrape it off with a
putty knife without tugging on it it will be OK.
I "pulled" some side mouldings off a Mustang once and found out new ones
cost $600!!!
I scraped the ones off my Scirocco and reinstalled after painting (and, of
course, cleaning off all the adhesive)

Care to guess how many replies will suggest you just leave the side
mouldings off??
