Bad transfer pump symptoms?

    i learned some cool stuff about exactly why this happens when i
bypassed/researched my fuel reservoir. i'll try to whip up a flow diagram
tonight and post it.
    also, i am documenting as i go as far as yanking stuff in preps for the
twin. i will map out the entire fuel system shortly (including the obscure
check valve i found installed tucked in above the fuel filler nozzle (yep,
theres one in there)).
