ok ..
u can use the coil that u have ..
al u have to do it sonnect it the right way.
pretty much it will be an engine bay/fuse panel install ..
unless u r like me and planing on some crazy stuff latter on and just =
forget about the fuse box all together.
even though i have a 8V now .. im planing on bulding a nice 2L 16V ABF =
motor and on top of that dump a T04E
with about 20 Psi !!!
heres he things that u need ...
1. 16V fuel rail for digi 1 ... ross machine, eip, bahn brenner etc ... =
there sre other companies out thee too
2. a stock Fpr or an aftermarket Rising rate Fpr
3. a good and clean set of bosch injectors .. a minimum of 32Lbs/hr
4. a good and reliable chip ... i suggest goin to talk to the guys from =
SNS . they are the gods with Digi1 right now !

other things that u might want to consider if u r going turbo
1. a good and strong tranny ... yes ... bolt kit and quaife or peloquin =
diff is a must in this case ..=20
2. VW motorsport mounts .. stock ones are fine .. but they cant stand up =
to this kind of beating=20
3. have your axles checked out and also your brakes !!! cuz when u feel =
the pull no matter how conservative you are you want to see how fast u =
can go !

as far as electronics ..
the Digi1 ECU will work with the 16v distributor, map sensor is built =
in, inserts can be had from the dealer at a dirt cheap price !
U wil need the folowing items too :
- CO Potentiometer - Air temp sensor and Co adjustment
- Digi Water temp sender - Digi uses a dedicated sensor by which it =
monitors and adjust a/F mixture according to engine temperature and =
onther input parameters ( u might consider getting the entire plastic =
holder with both sensors off a corrado or just going to the stealership =
.. the other sensor is for u .. water tem sender ... and is same value =
(rezistance) as your original scirocco sender ) ... also not sure if the =
16V one will work or not.
- Digi 1 ISV - its not really required but i would say that u might want =
to consider it as an option .. BTW u can use your 16V one .. al u have =
to do is swap the connector ;) it worked for me and saved me a lot of =
headaches
-Knock sensor - MUST !!! also suggestiong on buying a new one ... Again =
.. use G60 parts !! dont order the 16V one .. different specs i got =
screwed on this too
and as far as turbo plumbing ....
a 2001 civic ex cold air intake works like a charm :) (over the trany =
and then down under the battery tray )
i know it does for me !! im still waiting for my IC to come Back from =
the weldin shop and then i will post pics on my site again.

Subject: Digifant on a 16v question

  Since I plan on using digi 1 off a g60 on my 16v when I go turbo I =
have a few questions. First off is it hard to install it? Do I only =
need the wiring harness for the engine bay? I know that I need a =
special fuel rail, but thats all that I know I need. I imagine that I =
also need the coil, distributor(maybe...I dont know), injectors and the =
inserts, MAP sensor, stuff like that. Could anyone give me a detailed =
list of what I am exactly going to need to get a hold of for this? =
Would the engine run ok if I install it without a turbo, I cant afford =
the turbo stuff now and just wanted to get the swap out of the way so =
when I do get everything for the turbo I can just throw it on. Thanks =
alot everyone :)

  Nate
